Episode 1: Testing Motor Skills & Decision Making in a Speed Building competition
In Episode 1, we get introduced to our 30 finalists from all over the United States and Canada. They'll go head to head in challenges inspired by the skills required to build the LEGO® Technic sets to win the ultimate prize, a spot in the Luminosity Gaming Academy. Also featuring Boone Langston, one of LEGO Masters finalists, building the LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR.
Episode 2: Collaboration & Problem-Solving featuring LEGO Technic Off-Road Buggy
In Episode 2, our Top 20 competitors return and they need to show that they have superior collaborative abilities and problem solving skills. They'll compete in our 1st Immunity Challenge - "League It To Me", where we'll see who's ready to stop, collaborate, and piston in Rocket League. And then those without immunity will battle it out in this week's Elimination Challenge - "All Gas No Bricks", a Fortnite speedrun battle where the bottom 5 will be eliminated from the competition. Also featured in this episode is Boone Langston, LEGO Master's finalist, building our LEGO Technic Off-Road Buggy
Episode 3: Mechanical & Spatial Skills featuring LEGO Technic Dom's Dodge Charger
In Episode 3, we are putting our Top 15 through increasingly thought-provoking challenges that will put their mechanical and spatial skills to the test. First, they will take part in the Immunity Challenge - "Vehicle Battle Derby", going head to head on a Fortnite bumper cars map, Thunder Dome. Lastly, they will battle it out in the Elimination Challenge - "Trickshot Throwdown", where their Rocket League trickshot skills will be judged on both style and goal completion. Also featuring Boone Langston as he builds the LEGO® Technic™ Dom’s Dodge Charger.
Episode 4: The Kids get their Creativity tested as they face a Minecraft bulding challenge
In Episode 4, we are down to our Top 10 and there is no more immunity, so right off the bat we jump into this week's Elimination Challenge - "What Does the LG Eye Belong To?". This will prove which of our competitors have an eye for creativity and will make it through to the finale. Then the Final 8 will get to work with our Luminosity Academy mentors: NickEh30, Sommerset, and Tewtiy on creating their final submissions to be a part of the Luminosity Academy First Class. Also featuring Boone Langston, LEGO Master finalist, building our LEGO® Technic™ Land Rover Defender.
Episode 5: Taking constructive criticism. It's time for the Judges to give feedback to our finalists
After a long journey, we have finally reached the Grand Finale. In Episode 5, we find out who will be joining the Luminosity Academy First Class in 2022.Through building complex LEGO® Technic™ models, conquering video game challenges, and learning what it takes to be a real content creator, we have found 8 amazing finalists. Each of them got to work with our mentors NickEh30, Sommerset, Tewtiy, and JeromeASF to utilize all their skills to make a video. The final Elimination Challenge - "Video Showcase" will show everything that they learned from this show, demonstrate their creativity, and reveal how they respond to constructive criticism and feedback. Also featuring Boone Langston, LEGO Masters finalist, as he builds the legendary LEGO® Technic™ Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.
